Open Question: Which area in Australia should I move to?

I am leaving nova scotia, Canada to the sunny Australia. My wife is a nurse and I am in the navy. We also have three kids. I would need a neighborhood near one of the navy bases down there, and not too hot. I would like somewhere near a nice beach, where the water is warm. Not a sketchy town though. Not a lot of crime I mean. And if this is possible, these few details would be nice, but not needed: Not a lot of dangerous animals, kangaroos and koalas near us (my kids love them). Thank you!!!...
